Thank you for visiting the Nottingham Afghan Foundation website. Nottingham Afghan Foundation is a voluntary organisation, that strives to help and support (not only) the Afghan community and (but also) the wider Muslim community in Nottingham by providing and facilitating a place to worship and to learn and promote the religion of Islam.
Due to conflict and trouble in Afghanistan, many Afghans moved to the UK and found their homes in Nottingham with the first families arriving in the 90s. Since then the Afghan community has flourished and grown to 3000 people, all of whom follow different walks of life but share the same passion for their country, culture and religion.
